Additional Information

BMSA Volunteers

The U10 Canada Day Classic is our #1 fundraiser annually. The profits from this event go directly to subsidizing the registration fees so all our players do benefit directly from this event. Not only is this event critical to our club, it is lots of fun and run entirely voluntarily by the BMSA members and their families.

The Canada Revenue Agency’s Children’s Fitness Tax Credit can be claimed for children under the age of 16 at the beginning of the year in which the expenses are paid. You can claim up to $500.00 per child each taxation year. Burnaby Minor Softball Association’s league registration fees qualify for the Children’s Fitness Tax Credit.

Late fees, uniform deposits, and volunteer fees do not qualify.

You can only claim the actual amount paid in any year, so if your fees were pro-rated or partially waived the amount you may claim will differ.
